1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using TripMate AI, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

TripMate AI is a travel planning application that helps users:

• Organize and plan trips with timelines and maps
• Track accommodations, activities, and transportation
• Use AI-powered features for trip analysis and booking extraction
• Share trips with friends and family
• Discover attractions at destinations

3. User Accounts

To use TripMate AI, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Providing accurate and current information
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

4. Subscriptions and Payments

Subscription Plans:

• Free: Basic trip planning features. AI features require credit purchases.
• Monthly ($4.99 AUD/month): 30 AI credits per month, auto-renews monthly.
• Yearly ($49.99 AUD/year): Unlimited AI credits, auto-renews yearly.

Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.

Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID Account Settings on your device.

Refunds: All purchases are processed through Apple. For refund requests, please contact Apple Support.

5. AI Features and Credits

AI-powered features in TripMate AI require credits:

• Monthly subscribers receive 30 credits per month (reset each billing period)
• Yearly subscribers have unlimited access to AI features
• Free users can purchase credit packs as needed
• Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any illegal purpose
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the app
• Upload harmful content or spam
• Interfere with the app's functionality
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

TripMate AI and its content, features, and functionality are owned by TripMate and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our permission.

8. Third-Party Services

TripMate AI may contain links to or integrate with third-party services (such as booking platforms). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third parties. Your use of such services is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

TripMate AI is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be error-free or uninterrupted
• AI-generated suggestions will be accurate or complete
• Third-party booking information will be current

You use the app at your own risk. Always verify travel information independently.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TripMate shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the app (More → Account → Delete Account). We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

14. Apple's Terms

For subscriptions and in-app purchases, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) also applies.
